Windsor, United Kingdom - September 17, 2025 On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the Red Arrows performed a spectacular flypast over Windsor Castle to mark the state visit of U.S. President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump. Their Majesties The King and Queen were present alongside the visiting dignitaries as nine jets from the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team flew overhead. The display featured red, white, and blue smoke trails, forming part of an unprecedented ceremonial welcome for a key ally. The flypast highlights the close collaboration between UK and U.S. forces, designed to operate seamlessly together in training and combat situations. In June, it was announced that the Royal Air Force will receive 12 new F-35A aircraft under the Security and Defence Review, further enhancing interoperability with the U.S. military. Nine Hawk jets from the Red Arrows flew in precise formation, demonstrating speed, agility, and coordination. The team serves as ambassadors for the UK, promotes recruitment to the Armed Forces, and represents British excellence on the global stage. Since their first display season in 1965, the Red Arrows have visited the U.S. five times and performed in 57 countries worldwide.
