Los Angeles, United States - September 20, 2025 09/20/2025 02:15 am GMT-0700 DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division units responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down in the 1800 block of South Olive Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered an illegal after-hours club hosting a rave. Officers determined that no shooting had occurred and decided to shut down the event. They requested assistance from the Los Angeles Fire Department to gain access through a back door to the venue. After successfully entering the premises, officers closed the party without further incident. Key News Network interviewed TEKA from D.C., who attends the raves weekly, and said it's a safe place with a bunch of people trying to have fun and express themselves. He told KNN that false shooting reports are "always" being called in at the location. "It's a lot of salty people, it's a lot of people who can't get in who have fear of missing out that want to be in there." TEKA feels that the false reports are those that are trying to "get back" at the club for either not letting them in or throwing them out due to a fight.
