Phoenix, United States - September 21, 2025 09/21/2025 02:35 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – On Sunday morning, just after 2:30 a.m., Phoenix police responded to reports of shots fired in the 2000 block of North 52nd Drive at West Hubble Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a running SUV parked in front of a residence with the front door wide open. Additional officers were called to the scene, and a drone was deployed to survey the area. Officers issued commands in Spanish for the occupant(s) of the home to come out. After approximately 30 to 45 minutes of issuing commands, a tactical unit equipped with long rifles and shields entered the residence to search and clear the premises. Following the search, officers exited the home, and Phoenix firefighters were summoned to attend to an individual found inside. It remains unclear whether that person was injured, shot, or deceased. The police cordoned off the area with crime scene tape, but no further details have been released.
