Moment rear window shatters as man closes boot
Doorbell camera footage captured the moment a man's car rear window shattered as he closed the boot.
Ross Primrose, 25, was helping his sister, Lucy, 20, pack her belongings for her return to university on September 13.
As they finished packing, a tape measure had been accidentally left between the boot and the rear window.
When Ross came to closed it, the glass shattered into pieces.
Ross, from Leicestershire, England, said: "There was definitely a panic at first. "
"But we quickly moved everything to another car. "
"It's all fixed now, and a new window is in."
The insurance covered the repair, and Ross only had to pay the £115 excess.
