A heartwarming video has emerged of a man helping a roe who got her head stuck in a trough in Village de Labelle, QC, Canada.

The footage, shot on June 19, shows the roe running away after the man managed to extract her head from the trough.

The man told Newsflare he noticed his trough had disappeared overnight and though a bear had taken it.

However, his partner spotted the distressed roe and called him over so he could help her out.

"Lesson learnt, I will stop using this type of trough," he said.

"The aim is to enjoy the roes' presence, not to harm them," he added.

C'est alors que Maryse ma conjointe me crie "il y a un chevreuil de coincé!!!!! Alors je fait un bon a l'extérieur du lit je me dirige au garage, saute dans mes botte et ramasse des gants au passage. La suite du vidéo, ce que l'on ne vois pas est que la femelle c'est reposé plus loin et est repartie après 10 minutes en marchant doucement.
Leçon apprise, je vais délaissé ce type de mangeoire. L'idée c'est quand même d'apprécier les chevreuils et non leurs faire du mal.
