Stephanie Besagas surprised her loved ones on her 29th birthday by announcing that she is expecting a child in Surigao del Norte, the Philippines.

Heartwarming footage shows Stephanie lifting the 'Happy Birthday' sign from a pristine white cake, while her parents, relatives, and friends waited in eager anticipation on September 4.

Guests were brimming with excitement, expecting to see how much money her friend had hidden in the cake — unaware that she was about to reveal something far more precious, a photo of her ultrasound.

As she carefully pulled out the images, the room erupted with joyous screams and laughter as family members realised she would soon be a mother.

She said: 'I wanted to make it extra special by sharing a surprise with the people closest to my heart.

'So, instead of the usual money inside the cake, I decided to hide something even more priceless — my ultrasound photo. It was my way of announcing that they will be expecting a grandchild.

'Their reactions were so genuine and full of joy, especially as this will be my parents' very first grandchild. It was such a magical moment, one I'll cherish forever.'
