Thai girl takes revenge on suspected call center scammer
This is the amusing moment a Thai woman took revenge on a suspected call centre spammer.
Fern, from Mahasarakham, Thailand, grew fed up with the nuisance calls and came up with a plan to make them stop contacting her.
Footage shows her chatting to the agent before placing the phone under an aluminium tray while her friend repeatedly struck it with a metal spoon, creating a deafening racket down the line.
The cold caller had reportedly been offering Fern a job paying between 300 and 1,000 Baht (7 to 23 GBP) a day.
Spammers in Thailand often use such schemes to trick people into buying fake products, handing over personal details, or clicking on malicious websites.
