Phoenix, United States - October 02, 2025 10/01/2025 07:00 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a shooting near 31st Avenue and Willow Avenue around 7:00 p.m. One unidentified gunshot victim was located at the scene. The victim was transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition. Officers established a large crime scene along 31st Avenue after several shell casings were found scattered throughout the roadway. The gunfire struck a nearby apartment complex and at least two parked vehicles. Phoenix Police Department detectives and crime scene technicians were seen documenting evidence inside a second-floor apartment unit. Detectives remained at the scene for several hours before eventually clearing the area around 3:00 a.m.
