A simple act of kindness has captured the hearts of millions after Betty Colee posted a video of her younger sister giving away a cherished balloon to a homeless child. The clip, which has now reached 15.8 million views, shows the emotional moment unfolding outside a drugstore, where a group of homeless children had gathered.

“We bought the balloon at church,” Betty wrote. “My younger sister even cried so that our mother would buy it for her.”

Later, while waiting outside the store, one of the children asked for money, while a younger boy quietly stared at the balloon. As he returned to his mother, sitting on pieces of cardboard nearby, Betty’s sister continued watching. Then, without prompting, she asked if it would be okay to give her balloon to the child.

“She gave up something she had wanted so badly, simply to make another child happy,” Betty shared.

The video has sparked an outpouring of support and reflection, with viewers praising the girl’s empathy and emotional maturity.
