This is the dramatic moment a stack of tyres toppled onto a toddler inside a car repair shop.

CCTV footage shows two young girls riding their scooters through the workshop in Zhejiang, China.

The younger child can be seen running out of the area towards their home, while her sister remained standing between the wheels on June 8.

Moments later, the pile suddenly collapsed, toppling onto the girl.

She cried out in pain upon impact, while a nearby worker, distracted by his phone, failed to notice the accident.

Alerted by the cries, the children's mother rushed over, pulled her daughter from the pile, and checked if she was hurt.

Meanwhile, her younger sister stood frozen in shock.

Local media reported that the child did not sustain any injuries.
