A mum got a fright when she spotted a Halloween neon sign in the middle aisle at Lidl - and thought it featured a swear word.

Kelly Robotham, 34, was shopping at the store in Norwich's Alysham Road when she saw the cursive sign which is meant to say 'Trick or Treat' on Sunday.

She said she "genuinly" thought it said 'F**k or Treat' - and did a double take."

"I was walking past, took a quick glance and genuinely thought it said a bad word", said Kelly, a one-to-one worker at a school."

"I had to go back and double look."

It comes in purple or orange, for £11.99, or £9.99 if you're a Lidl Club member.
