Phoenix, United States - October 06, 2025 10/06/2025 12:08 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and the Phoenix Fire Department were called to reports of a traffic collision at the intersection of Colter Street and 17th Place just after midnight Monday morning. Officers arrived and located an SUV that had collided with the SR-51 sound wall. The car had crashed through the sound wall, spraying debris into the backyard and onto the roof of a residential house. The single occupant of the car was trapped and required extrication by firefighters before being transported to a local area hospital. The driver was described as having sustained serious injuries, according to information gathered at the scene. Police closed off the area as they investigated the collision.
