While officers were en route, they learned that the owner had a live camera feed showing a suspect inside the shop taking merchandise and placing it into large trash bags. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the suspect just outside the business, but the suspect fled on foot. A perimeter was established, but officers did not locate the suspect.
