Shih Tzu stuck in gate while trying to escape needs rescuing with circular saw
A hapless pet dog that became trapped in a gate while trying to escape from home was rescued using a circular saw.
Mickoy Antolihao discovered her mischievous Shih Tzu, Chicko, wedged in the gap of their gate in Cebu, the Philippines.
The worried pet owner immediately called for help from her neighbours to free the canine on October 10.
Footage shows residents carefully pulling Chicko out after a man used a circular saw to cut through one of the metal bars above the dog's body.
After a painstaking effort, they successfully freed the calm pooch unharmed.
Mickoy said: 'I panicked when I saw my dog stuck, so I immediately called for help. Chicko was very cooperative and well-behaved throughout the rescue.'
