Would you climb this natural ladder formed from bamboo?
A holidaymaker came across an unusual bamboo being used as a ladder and decided to test how sturdy it was.
Footage shows him carefully stepping onto protruding branches arranged alternately on each side of the stalk in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
The thorny bamboo was seen leaning against a palm tree.
The filmer said: 'I found this unusual ladder that had naturally formed from bamboo and was amazed by it. I tried to climb it, but I think I was too heavy.'
Bambusa bambos is a strong, thorny bamboo widely used in construction, crafts, erosion control, and as a natural building material across Asia.
