Ultra-realistic robot falls during performance and is left flailing on the floor
This is the funny moment a state-of-the-art humanoid robot suffered an embarrassing malfunction during a public event - and ended up flailing helplessly on the floor.
Footage from the event in Hunan, China, on September 19 shows the sleek robot attempting to walk up a small set of stairs in front of a crowd.
But the high-tech humanoid appears to misjudge its step, wobbling dramatically before before pitching forward and crashing to the ground.
The machine then slides awkwardly across the floor, its mechanical limbs flailing as onlookers watch in disbelief.
The clip ends with the robot lying motionless on the floor while embarrassed staff rush in to rescue it.
