Fireworks Light Up Downtown Los Angeles In Dodgers World Series Celebration
On November 2, 2025, a video filmed by X user Colleen captures downtown Los Angeles bursting with light and color following the Dodgers’ World Series victory over the Yankees, from a high vantage near S. Olive Street and 9th Street.
The panoramic view shows high-rises and mid-century buildings glowing in electric blue and purple hues, likely LED projections in Dodgers colors, reflecting off glass facades and wet streets from earlier rain. Key landmarks include the curved white dome of Disney Concert Hall, its spiky garden lights, and the blocky Crypto.com Arena with its glowing red “AEG” sign.
Multilane boulevards at the Olive and Flower Street intersection are packed with slow-moving traffic. Streams of red taillights and white headlights weave through yellow-lit crosswalks, flanked by palm trees, ornate Beaux-Arts buildings, and low parking garages. Faint silhouettes of the US Bank Tower and other skyscrapers rise through distant fog.
Celebratory fireworks erupt intermittently over rooftops, scattering golden cascades and red sparks across the skyline, adding bursts of energy to the urban glow. No crowds are seen — the focus remains on the city itself, alive with victory.
Subtle details such as garland-draped streetlamps, a lone white SUV at a light, and the outline of the 7th Street viaduct under sodium-vapor lighting complete the neon-lit nocturne.
