India: Police set up roadblocks after deadly car explosion in New Delhi

Indian police have set up multiple roadblocks on roads in Delhi following a car blast on Monday evening which left at least 13 people dead and multiple injured. The blast occurred inside a car near the historic Red Fort. Police reported a slow-moving vehicle had stopped at a red light on the road before the explosion which set nearby vehicles alight, damaging more than twenty cars. Immediately after the blast, firefighters, police teams and forensic experts reached the spot to investigate the blast. Video footage filmed by a China Global Television Network (CGTN) stringer on Tuesday showed that police have blocked off roads near the incident area, with a large number of media personnel remaining on site. The Red Fort area will remain closed for three days and the entire area will be cordoned off, according to reports on Tuesday. Shotlist: New Delhi, India - Nov 11, 2025: 1.
