The Chinese embassy in New Delhi has increased its security due to the recent violent clashes between Indian and Chinese troops close to the border in eastern Ladakh.

Footage from June 17 shows multiple enhanced security measures adopted by New Delhi police, including patrols and roadblocks.

The violent clashes occurred in the Galwan Valley and resulted in the deaths of at least 20 Indian soldiers.

It was also reported that the Chinese army suffered 35 casualties.

The violent face-off between Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan valley of eastern Ladakh has led to the martyrdom of at least 20 Indian soldiers. According to the US intelligence report, the Chinese troops also suffered at least 35 casualties during the face-off.

In view of the ongoing situation, Delhi Police has deployed additional police force outside the Republic of Embassy of chine in view of the possibility of protests. Both India and China blamed each other for the clashes.

Rallies and gatherings of people are prohibited according to the government's guidelines related to COVID-19.
