Los Angeles, United States - November 11, 2025 11/11/2025 01:56 am GMT-0800 SAWTELLE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Authorities from the California Highway Patrol attempted to stop a black BMW SUV that was initially wanted for speeding. The driver failed to yield and fled from officers, traveling south on the 405 Freeway into the West Los Angeles area. The suspect exited onto Santa Monica Boulevard and fled toward the 2100 block of Beloit Avenue, where the vehicle crashed into a tree and the corner of a building that appears to operate as a Marshalls store. Both a male and a female suspect were taken into custody. The Los Angeles Fire Department was requested for the male, who suffered lacerations to his face during the crash. He was evaluated on-site but was not transported to a hospital. The California Highway Patrol is currently handling the crash investigation.
