Los Angeles, United States - November 19, 2025 11/18/2025 09:06 pm GMT-0800 CAMARILLO, Calif. – Ventura County firefighters and sheriff's deputies responded to the 5000 block of Galano Drive for reports of a vehicle that collided with a fire hydrant. When first responders arrived, they found the sheared hydrant gushing water approximately 50 feet into the air, but there was no vehicle at the scene. Emergency crews remained on site, coordinating with the Camarillo Water Department to shut off the water, well over an hour into the incident. The vehicle that struck the hydrant fled the scene, and no description is available.
