Los Angeles, United States - March 16, 2025 03/16/2025 02:39 am (GMT-0700) DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Fire Department responded early Sunday morning to a sheared fire hydrant in the 800 block of South Alameda Street, located at the intersection of East Olympic Boulevard. A vehicle reportedly struck the hydrant and fled the scene. Emergency crews faced challenges in shutting off the water as a 75-foot geyser sprayed into nearby power lines, complicating their efforts.
