Los Angeles, United States - December 23, 2025 12/23/2025 01:50 am GMT-0800 VENTURA, Calif. – A Ventura police officer on patrol discovered a damaged fire hydrant at the intersection of Main and Coronado Streets, in front of Ventura High School. The officer requested a response from the Ventura City Fire Department. Upon arrival, it was determined that the hydrant had likely been struck by a vehicle, as a tree was also down on the nearby sidewalk. Fire crews shut off the water in approximately 10 minutes. There is no description of the vehicle involved in the incident.
