Customers can experience coffee like royalty at this over-the-top cafe in Thailand.

The Rue Dee Cafe, located in the UNESCO-recognised city of Ayutthaya, serves each cup of caffeine with a grand performance showcasing the country's rich culture and historic roots.

Unlike typical coffee shops that use simple plastic cups, Rue Dee Cafe's signature beverages are presented in fancy goblets placed on bejewelled and gilded ceremonial trays. A short traditional dance and drums also accompany the offering.

The drinks themselves are decorated with delicate Thai flowers. However, to experience the full performance, customers must order either of the cafe's signature drinks. This is called 'Sai lo-hit', which mixes espresso, raspberry, and roselle, or 'Bong-swong', which is a concoction of espresso and coconut.
