On November 25 in Foshan, Guangdong, a humorous yet telling incident was caught on camera. A woman attempted to casually walk off with a cardboard box, but the dog guarding the doorway immediately intervened to protect its owner’s belongings.

After a brief “tug-of-war,” the determined dog successfully pulled the box back, forcing the woman to walk away empty-handed.

CCTV footage shows the woman using a stick to drag the box, while the dog, tied near the entrance, quickly lunges forward and clamps down on it, refusing to let go until it pulls the box safely back.

According to the dog’s owner, the same woman had previously taken a broom and a stick from the doorway, so the dog has grown increasingly alert. Whenever she tries to take anything, the dog steps in to stop her.
