Barcelona, Spain - December 01, 2025 A spectacular fireball designated FI CASIOPEIDA SPMN011225D lit up the sky over Barcelona today at 1h42m44s TUC (2h42 CET), after entering the atmosphere at 58,000 km/h. From Vallirana, the object was seen crossing the sky from Ursa Major to Leo, carving a bright path above the horizon. A separate recording from Esparreguera, Barcelona, shows a slight change in the apparent trajectory, attributed to minimal parallax between the two observation stations. In this view, the fireball is seen completing its ablation in the constellation Sextans, and is described as probably being of high consistency. Another full-color video from Sant Fost de Campsentelles, Barcelona, captures the fireball as it passes in front of Regulus, the brightest star in the constellation Leo, adding a striking reference point to its path across the night sky.
