Los Angeles, United States - December 02, 2025 12/02/2025 12:00 am GMT-0800 FLORENCE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department's 77th Division initiated a pursuit of a suspected DUI driver in the area of Figueroa Street and 76th Street. The driver circled the area several times at slow speeds, even stopping for red lights and obeying traffic laws. As officers attempted a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver, the suspect accelerated and drove at a high rate of speed. He entered the 110 Freeway, heading south, before exiting at El Segundo Boulevard and then re-entering to travel northbound. Officers successfully executed another PIT maneuver on the freeway, prompting the suspect to drive the wrong way and exit. Eventually, the vehicle drove into an alley on Gage Avenue near Figueroa Street, where the suspect surrendered. He was taken into custody shortly thereafter.
