US, Los Angeles: El Monte High-Speed Pursuit Crash With Multiple Vehicles
Los Angeles, United States - October 22, 2025 10/21/2025 10:09 pm GMT-0700 EL MONTE, Calif. – El Monte police officers, assisted by a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department airship, were involved in a high-speed pursuit of a vehicle that traversed multiple cities. The chase reached speeds on the 10 Freeway before the suspect exited and entered Temple City. The pursuit concluded when the suspect crashed into several vehicles, causing one to overturn at the intersection of North Santa Ana Avenue and East Garvey Avenue in El Monte. Authorities took the suspect into custody. One individual suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital; the extent of the injuries remains unknown. Details regarding the vehicle the suspect was driving at the time of the crash, as well as the reasons for the pursuit, have yet to be disclosed.
