Los Angeles, United States - December 10, 2025 12/10/2025 02:55 pm GMT-0800 ANAHEIM, Calif. – Eight track and field team runners from Anaheim High School were struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and West North Street as they waited at the corner. Medics treated all eight students on-site; three were transported to a hospital, and five received treatment at the scene. Authorities are investigating whether the driver was under the influence. No fatalities have been reported, and the conditions of the students remain unknown. According to sources, the driver of the vehicle was identified on Thursday as 27-year-old Anthony Alva-Palafox. He was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of DUI and is expected to appear in court on Friday. He is being held on $100,000 bail.
