US, Los Angeles: Baldwin Park Driver And 2 Dogs Rescued From Burning Vehicle With Sound On Tape

Los Angeles, United States - November 15, 2025 11/15/2025 01:11 am GMT-0800 BALDWIN PARK, Calif. – California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a traffic collision involving a vehicle on its side on the westbound 10 Freeway at the 605 Freeway transition road in Baldwin Park. Additional 911 calls indicated that the vehicle was on fire and that one person was still trapped inside. Firefighters arrived on the scene and successfully freed the driver, who was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. They also rescued two dogs from the vehicle. CHP transported the injured dogs to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center located at 4275 N. Elton Street. A witness who assisted in the rescue efforts reported that the vehicle was traveling at high speeds when it crashed into the wall and flipped over. As a result of the investigation into the traffic collision, CHP closed the westbound 10 Freeway from the 605 Freeway transition road.
