US, Phoenix: Phoenix 7th Avenue Fatal Vehicle Vs Pedestrian Crash
Phoenix, United States - December 17, 2025 12/16/2025 10:40 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Phoenix Fire Department and Phoenix police officers responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on 7th Avenue near Fillmore Street around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday. Officers arrived to find a person lying unresponsive in the roadway after being struck by a Ford Mustang traveling northbound on 7th Avenue. The collision occurred at a crosswalk with flashing lights; however, it is unknown whether the lights were activated when the pedestrian was struck. Firefighters transported the victim to a local area hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased. Police closed 7th Avenue in both directions between Polk Street and McKinley Street as they investigated the collision.
