This is the amusing moment a nervous customer panicked when she was startled by a cat at a cafe.

Fazlinda Fauzi and her friends visited Ragdoll Catfe in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to spend time with the resident Ragdolls and Maine Coons.

Footage shows Fazlinda, who is not used to being around moggies, and her two friends feeding the felines on December 6.

Fazlinda can be seen dodging some of the cats, clearly afraid that they might scratch her.

Moments later, she turned around and saw a black Maine Coon looking at her. As the kitty leaned forward to give some affection, Fazlinda leapt up from the floor and scrambled away, quickly grabbing her phone from the ground as she fled.

Fazlinda said: 'I am not really a 'cat person'. I am afraid of getting scratched. I only dare to get close if a cat sits perfectly still. A black Maine Coon tried to be affectionate, and that was enough to make me run.'

Ragdoll Catfe is home to a dozen affectionate cats known for their gentle and loving nature, making it a popular spot for coffee and cat lovers alike.
