US, Los Angeles: Long Beach Winds Hit Marina

Los Angeles, United States - December 29, 2025 12/29/2025 12:00 pm GMT-0800 LONG BEACH, Calif. – High winds hit Shoreline Marina in Long Beach Monday afternoon. Winds began to pick up around noon and have reached an average speed of 18 mph with gusts to 25 mph. Winds are continuing to increase. Turbulent waters in the marina, as well as within the breakwater outside of the Queen Mary, were caused by winds in the area. Key News Network video of the marina includes flags, trees, and boats being affected by the strong winds. A small craft advisory is in effect for the area from the U.S. Coast Guard Los Angeles sector. Vessels are advised to seek shelter and avoid leaving their slips for the duration of the advisory.
