US, Los Angeles: Ventura Downtown Wind
Los Angeles, United States - December 30, 2025 12/30/2025 12:30 am GMT-0800 VENTURA, Calif.– The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a wind advisory effective until Tuesday afternoon. Updated at 7:22 p.m. PST, the advisory warns of north to northeast winds expected to range from 20 to 35 mph, with gusts reaching up to 50 mph. Affected areas include the Ventura County Coast, Malibu Coast, Ventura County Valleys, western areas of Los Angeles County Valleys, Southern Ventura County Mountains, Eastern Santa Monica Mountains, and Eastern San Gabriel Mountains. The advisory will remain in place until 3 p.m. PST Tuesday. Possible impacts include unsecured objects being blown around, downed tree limbs, and potential power outages in the region.
