Bahadurgarh, India - December 31, 2025 Elderly Woman Attacked by a Troop of Monkeys While Sunbathing Haryana Bahadurgarh. A troop of monkeys attacked an elderly woman in Batra Colony. The 60-year-old woman was sunbathing outside her house on the afternoon of December 26 when a troop of monkeys suddenly attacked and injured her. A troop of monkeys was passing through the street in the afternoon. Upon seeing the woman sitting on a chair in the street, the monkeys pounced on her. Three or four monkeys bit the woman on her head, hands, and other parts of her body, injuring her. Hearing the woman's screams, people from the neighborhood rushed to the spot and somehow managed to chase the monkeys away by making noise. After the incident, the family immediately took the woman to the hospital. The woman's condition is currently stable, but she is still in shock after the incident.
