Two leopard cats fight near roadside at night in China
On December 25, 2025, in Qinghai Province, located in northwestern China, a video showed two leopard cats fighting beside a vehicle on the Sichuan–Tibet highway. The driver had stopped to rest when the headlights illuminated the animals.
The two cats rolled and wrestled continuously, showing no sign of stopping. They appeared completely indifferent to the nearby car and the presence of people.
Leopard cats are protected wildlife in China, so the driver did not intervene. Chinese viewers noted the rare encounter and the animals’ intense behavior.
