US, Los Angeles: Bassett Metrolink Train Strikes Pedestrian In Fatal Collision
Los Angeles, United States - January 06, 2026 01/05/2026 05:57 pm GMT-0800 BASSETT, Calif. – Homicide detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a fatal collision involving a Metrolink train and a pedestrian at the intersection of Temple Avenue and Valley Boulevard in Bassett. Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. The Metrolink train remained at the location. There were passengers aboard the train at the time of the incident, but it is currently unclear whether any passengers were injured.
