US, Los Angeles: Ontario Vehicle Vs Pedestrian Fatal
Los Angeles, United States - January 13, 2026 01/12/2026 11:46 pm GMT-0800 ONTARIO, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol from the Rancho Cucamonga Area office is investigating a fatal traffic collision involving a pedestrian on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway at Fourth Street in Ontario. According to the CHP information page, the reporting party stated that the pedestrian jumped in front of his vehicle. As part of their investigation into the incident, CHP has closed the number 4 lane and the on-ramp. It is currently unknown if any other vehicles struck the pedestrian and fled the scene.
