Los Angeles, United States - January 08, 2026 01/08/2026 03:00 am GMT-0800 DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol was pursuing a reckless driver who fled from the Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire Division officers. The suspect was reported to be traveling the wrong way on the 101 Freeway multiple times. Key News Network video captured the driver traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the freeway at Cahuenga Boulevard in the Hollywood area. The driver eventually entered surface streets in downtown Los Angeles, continuing to navigate wrong way on one-way streets. The pursuit led to the area of 8th and Bixel streets, where four male occupants fled from the vehicle. In an attempt to evade officers, one suspect was spotted running on the 110 Freeway near Seventh Street. Another suspect was located hiding under an awning near James M Wood Boulevard and Francisco Street. All four suspects were eventually located and taken into custody. The vehicle was found at 8th and Bixel streets.
