Los Angeles, United States - September 22, 2025 09/22/2025 02:45 am GMT-0700 MID-CITY, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department's Newton Division units pursued a stolen vehicle west on the 10 Freeway through downtown and then west on Washington Boulevard. The pursuit ended when the suspect's vehicle collided head-on with an LAPD unit at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Washington Boulevard in Mid-City. The passenger complied with officers' orders and was subsequently released. The female driver initially refused to comply but was ultimately taken into custody without further incident. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to assess all individuals involved in the crash, and there were no reports of injuries.
