Local authorities said several buildings sustained structural damage, including partial destruction of homes in the area.
A fire spread across roughly 150 square meters, prompting emergency teams to deploy multiple units for containment and evacuation support.
Rescue crews, sappers and medical personnel worked through the site, clearing debris and stabilizing damaged sections of the residential zone.
A local fire brigade assisted in suppressing remaining hotspots and securing access routes for emergency vehicles.
Officials confirmed that four residents sustained injuries during the attack.
Kharkiv, located roughly 30 kilometers (19 miles) from the Russian border, remains a frequent target of aerial attacks amid the nearly four-year war.
Russian authorities have yet to comment on the attack, and independent verification is difficult due to the ongoing conflict.
