US, Phoenix: Phoenix 67th Avenue Homicide Shooting Investigation
Phoenix, United States - January 15, 2026 01/15/2026 01:55 am GMT-0700 Phoenix, Ariz. – Phoenix police officers and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a shooting near 67th Avenue and Highland Avenue. Upon arrival, first responders located an unidentified gunshot victim. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Phoenix Fire Department personnel. Phoenix Police Homicide Unit detectives have assumed command of the investigation. A large scene was established, closing 67th Avenue between Camelback Road and Campbell Avenue while the investigation unfolded. Detectives were expected to remain at the scene throughout the morning.
