Boy, 17, injures himself trying to copy Olympic divers by jumping off high bridge into river
Shocking footage has emerged from China of a 17-year-old Olympic enthusiast jumping off a 25-metre-high bridge into a river, injuring himself.
The video, captured in Yingtan, Jiangxi Province last Friday, shows the boy jumping off the bridge railings into the river, reportedly because he's an Olympic diving fan so wanted to emulate the Chinese Olympians.
Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan, as he ended up with several broken ribs and lung injuries.
