Filmed by a driving instructor in Edinburgh whilst on a lesson. The instructor and pupil just held back and left a gap, rather than waving or flashing the car out for the reason that you don't want to hurry someone in case they miss observations but unfortunately the driver still rushed it. We also teach to expect somebody coming from behind every obstruction until you see if it's clear. The maneouver that the car should have used is known as a 'peep and creep'.
