Teenager crashes into tree on crazy swing ride propelled by petrol leaf blowers
++Clients Note++ A much longer video with footage of the build and children using the ride has been uploaded to Newsflare as well.
The self proclaimed Mad Scientist, Jacob Strickling, from Down Under is at it again! He loves building fun (and slightly dangerous) rides to entertain his kids. This crazy ride consists of an old plastic batmobile fitted with two leaf blowers to propel it, hanging from a tree branch on a long rope.
Strickling made it for his two young children, but in this footage his teenage son Matthew decides to have a go (even though his way too big for it!). Matthew quickly learns the technique of leaning in the correct direction and before he knows it the ride is going faster and faster, higher and higher, which causes him to let out an expletive and soon after he crashes head on with a tree!
His father Jacob Strickling who is filming bursts out in laughter and struggles to capture the footage because he is laughing so hard.
Strickling is the creator behind 'Make Science Fun' a popular YouTube Channel.
