Vintage cars driven up steep hill-climb in the Lake District
A cool video has emerged of vintage cars being driven up a winding 2,100-ft quarry road at Honister Slate Mine in the Lake District, Cumbria, UK.
This year’s event took place on Saturday 08th November and this footage - captured at the 2011 and 2013 versions of the event - shows contestants driving pre-war cars up the challenging gravel track on Fleetwith pike.
The Vintage Sports Car Club describes the day as the 'ultimate test of our Pre-war machinery'.
