Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China capturing the terrifying moment a woman flew through a windscreen during a collision at a crossroads in Zhejiang Province.

In the video, captured earlier this month, a truck smashes into the side of a small lorry and the passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, is flung through the front of the truck onto the road below.

According to police, both the driver and the passenger were taken to a local hospital for injuries sustained in the accident and both are now in recovery.
