Two scooter drivers fell into the same hole on a flooded road after severe rainfall in southern China.

In the video, filmed in Xiaodu village in Shantou city in Guangdong province at 12:52 on June 24, a man in a blue raincoat drove his scooter into a hole on a submerged road.

A woman in a pink raincoat driving past the same section of the road fell into the same hole at 13:50.

A man tried to help the woman but he then fell into the hole as well. The pair were later rescued without any injuries.

The road was reportedly under the construction and the hole was covered by a plank, but it was swept away by the floodwater.

一名男性骑车坠入水坑，
随后自行离开。

第二幕

一辆女性骑电动摩托不慎掉进路边施工坑里，路人见状伸出援手也不慎落水，所幸最后两人均无大碍。

据悉，此路段正在进行污水管网施工，原本施工现场是有木板遮盖和用围栏围挡。但因为下雨积水，加上旁边过往车辆，木板被积水刮走了。
