A Landrover Defender follows a lead vehicle with camera to show the scale of a flooded road in West Yorkshire.
Barnsdale Road near Castleford, became flooded after the River Aire burst it's banks due to Storm Bella bringing strong winds and heavy rain to the UK.
The section of road between Castleford & Allerton Bywater is notorious for regular flooding and sees many motorists attempt to get through rather than face a lengthy diversion. During normal flooding, it is possible for specialist vehicles such as 4x4's to get through without any difficulty, but those with smaller cars and inexperienced drivers who dare to drive through, can become stranded or even submerged.
