Stranded In Castleford Floods
Footage showing a recovery effort of a vehicle stranded after attempting to pass through a flooded section of Barnsdale Road between Castleford & Allerton Bywater.
A 4x4 vehicle fitted with a snorkle was used to tow the vehicle to dry ground where the occupant was seen bailing out water.
After a few minor adjustments to the engine the vehicle was able to drive off.
